“My House shall be called a House of Prayer for All Nations”

-Isaiah 56:7

Daniel Prayer Garden officially began on June 1st, 1992 by Elder Ho-Ki Eun and his wife, Deaconess Kil-Soon. After serving in the local church for over 15 years, they felt compelled by the Lord to start a prayer garden to serve the greater Church in Atlanta and the South East. The legacy of DPG has been rich with countless testimonies of time spent with the Lord, healing for the broken soul, and as a place of prayer that has been open day and night.

In 2017, as the Lord’s providence would have it, their grandson, Andrew Eun, moved back to Atlanta alongside his wife and children after serving the Lord both domestically and globally as full time missionaries, local church leaders, and marketplace ministers all in various seasons of their lives. It felt as though the Lord had prepared both Andrew and Una to take on the role of servant leadership. On October 18th 2018, Andrew was installed as the official Director of Daniel Prayer Garden.

Over the last five years, the Lord has been incredibly gracious in sharing His heart for Daniel Prayer Garden and the unique calling that is to be stewarded. The heartbeat of DPG has always remained the same: To be a House of Prayer for All Nations. Today Daniel Prayer Garden still operates as a Prayer Retreat Center for groups, organizations, and individuals. As the ministry continues to come into maturity, we also get to serve the Body of Christ as a place of training & equipping, house of prayer, and community & healing.
